POSTPARTUM DOULA

CARING FOR NEW FAMILIES

About

01 about

As your postpartum doula, my role is to support both your emotional and physical well-being, ensuring that you are able to care for your precious baby from a place of calm and centered strength. The postpartum period is a time for healing and deep nourishment. The first few weeks are filled with raw moments of tenderness as you, your baby, and your family adapt to your new rhythm. Caring for this new life requires your full presence and unconditional love.

Hello!

This is (mini) me and little brother in 1995 👋

My name is Félixe and I am professionally trained to take care of you if you've recently had a baby.

Originally from rainy Brussels, I moved to the West Coast for the sunshine and stayed for love. I’ve now planted my roots here in Los Angeles with my husband and our beautiful daughter, Luz.

I was trained by Kathrin Auger through DONA International.

As your postpartum doula, my mission is to help create a sense of calm, assurance, and balance as you navigate the exciting yet often overwhelming journey of motherhood and family growth. Whether you're a first-time parent or expanding your family, I'm here to support and celebrate this transformative time with you.

02 services

My services begin just before or immediately following the birth of your baby and will see you through at least the first 6 weeks of their life.

MY SERVICES INCLUDE:

* Emotional Support

The transition into new parenthood can be vulnerable, and postpartum doulas are experts in emotional support, active listening and encouraging their clients to follow their own hearts. Empathy, a hug or even a good laugh together can do so much for a new parent!

* Evidence-Based Information and Support

Postpartum doulas are trained to understand what new babies – and new parents – truly need. The doula helps with soothing techniques, offers lactation or bottle feeding support, and explains normal newborn behavior and postpartum recovery expectations.

* Practical Support

It’s all hands on deck with a new baby, and postpartum doulas can help the days go by more smoothly by helping with the baby’s laundry, doing the dishes or preparing simple, nourishing meals.

* Partner and Sibling Support

A new baby means transition for everyone, including parents, grandparents and little brothers and sisters. Postpartum doulas understand what everyone needs, and part of their role is to help the entire family adjust and settle in.

"Felixe was great—pleasant to be around, proactive, and incredibly helpful. She was invaluable during a difficult but magical time. We were so happy to work with her, and most importantly, baby Florence loved her!"

Belinda

"Felixe is very nurturing and gentle. Having her around our newborn made us feel very comfortable. She helped my wife and me when we were extremely tired. She didn’t just assist with caring for Florence, but also helped around the house with cleaning and cooking. Félixe was reliable, punctual, and hardworking!"
